Domonic Brown was 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and a pair of runs scored in Friday's 9-5 victory over the Diamondbacks.

After a miserable first half in which he slashed just .227/.279/.329 with six home runs, Brown has started off the second half on a better note, hitting .292 through his first 24 at-bats. Although a run of seven hits in six games is not enough to gain the trust back of those who gave up on him, if he can manage to string together a few more games of solid power production there could be a place for him in deep league formats.
