Tim Lincecum got lit up by the Dodgers Friday to the tune of six runs on nine hits, no walks, while striking out six over just 4.2 innings.
If I said Lincecum did not walk a batter you would almost automatically assume he had a stellar start, but that was not the case Friday against the Dodgers, who had Puig and Han Ram in the lineup thus you may want to give him a pass for this game especially considering the former CY Young winner had not allowed more than three runs over his last six starts while allowing fewer than two runs in five of those starts. Next up for Lincecum will be the Pirates on Wednesday at home.ANALYST: Michael Pichan
Trevor Cahill has secured the final spot in the Diamondbacks' rotation.
With this news, it is confirmed that Daniel Hudson will start the season out of the team's bullpen. Cahill really struggled last season, but the team believes his revamped mechanics will equate to better success this season. In 17 starts and 14 relief appearances last year, he compiled a rough 5.61 ERA. Starters in Arizona will likely be back-end starters in many fantasy rotations this season. Analysis: Colby Conway
