Jose Abreu went 2-for-5 with a first-inning three-run home run and added another run scored later in Friday's 9-5 win over the Twins.
Abreu became the third quickest player in MLB history to reach 30 home runs after Friday's blast which came in his 89 career at-bat. Only Rudy York (79 games) and Mark McGwire (84) reached that mark quicker.rnANALYST: Michael Pichan
Chris Paul and Austin Rivers both practiced Monday and could play Tuesday.
Assuming everything goes well Tuesday, neither injury should be an issue going forward. Unlike last season, the Clippers finally have a competent point guard behind Paul and Rivers in Pablo Prigioni. Prigioni had 13 points, nine rebounds and 10 assists in 30 minutes in Sunday's preseason game against the Hornets, and he would be a viable fantasy play if Paul and Rivers go down with injuries.
