Hanley Ramirez has returned to the Dodgers starting lineup Friday.

Ramirez had been unable to swing a bat until yesterday after he was hit by a pitch on his hand last Sunday. The injury was never considered serious and he appears to be fully healed and ready to go Friday. ANALYST: Ben Diamond

Peyton Manning will take a $4M paycut dropping his salary from $19M to $14M.

To correct the source, Manning will take a pay cut to $15 million and allows the Broncos to re-sign some of their FA, including TE Julius Thomas after Denver franchise tagged Demaryius Thomas on Monday. Analysis: Rob Trayah

Update: Garrett Richards took pitchers' fielding practice on Thursday for the first time since suffering a patellar tendon tear in August, with no reported problems.

Richards is still not supposed to be ready for Opening Day so temper your expectations. He was in the midst of becoming an ace for the Angels last year, but won't be ready to go Day 1. He'll be available in the draft, but owners might pass knowing he's not going to contribute right away. Analysis: Rob Trayah

Ray Allen's agency announces he will not play this season.

Allen was threatening to come back to a contender in need of a shooter, but looks like he will sit out the 2014-15 season. Analysis: Rob Trayah

The Miami Heat have assigned Zoran Dragic to the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the D-League.

The brother of newly acquired Goran Dragic, Zoran will head to the D-league to get some playing time. He was not getting any playing time anyways so he shouldn't be impacting your fantasy team. Analysis: Rob Trayah

Wilmer Flores left Wednesday's spring game after he was hit in the wrist by a pitch.

An HBP to the hands region is always a scare especially for broken bones. Flores will be evaluated and an officially injury will be announced. He's not much a fantasy option anyways, but it would be interesting to see how the Mets fill the shortstop spot. Analysis: Rob Trayah

Chandler Parsons (ankle) ruled out for Thursday's game.

Parsons traveled with the Mavs on their road trip, but he will not play Thursday night. Richard Jefferson will continue to start with Parsons out of the line-up, but he still a tough buy in daily leagues. Analysis: Rob Trayah

Josh Harrison left Wednesday's Spring Training Game With Left Ankle Discomfort.

Harrison had a breakout year last year and is slated to be the Pirates' starting third baseman so this is worrisome. The good thing is there is a month before the season starts to get healthy if this is bad, but something to keep an eye on if you were looking to take Harrison this year in drafts. Analysis: Rob Trayah

Per league source, Texans have informed Chris Myers he will be released.

Myers has started every game in his seven year career in Houston so it appears the Texans will have a new center next season. Houston will most likely have a new quarterback as well so things are changing in the AFC South. Analysis: Rob Trayah

James Harden (suspension) will return to action Wednesday against the Grizzlies.

Harden took his one-game suspension in stride and returns back to the line-up Wednesday. he should return to your fantasy line-up as well. Analysis: Rob Trayah

Mike Pelfrey is unlikely to be a candidate for the bullpen if he doesn't win the fifth starter role, according manager Paul Molitor.

This puts Pelfrey in a tough spot so he may be forced out of Minnesota if he does not winner a starter job. He's battling Trevor May and Tommy Milone for the fifth spot so there are options a plenty in Minnesota, but May might be the best young option for fantasy. Analysis: Rob Trayah

Justin Nicolino is projected to begin the season at Triple-A New Orleans.

Nicolino is rated as the #2 prospect in the Marlins organization headed into 2015 and looks set to start the year in the minors. However, Miami has been known to move talent up if the player shows he is ready ala Jose Fernandez or Andrew Heaney, so don't be surprised to see Nicolino make the jump if injuries arise. Analysis: Rob Trayah

Jason Richardson has been cleared to play in Wednesday's game at Oklahoma City.

Richardson hasn't played in two years so this is exciting news for the veteran. With the 76ers in full tank mode, Richardson will be able to get some playing time. How much, is the question that will be answered soon enough and lead to true discovery of his fantasy value, if any. Analysis: Rob Trayah

Jon Beason and the Giants are negotiating a pay cut.

Beason said, "You're going to do what is best for you and you try to work with the team and do what is best for the team." He would hit the Giants hard with$7.37 million against the cap after an injury plagued season. Beason is due a $1 million bonus on March 14. Analysis: Drew Phelps

Taj Gibson is out of the walking boot. He's still doubtful for Thursday.

The Bulls have already ruled out Gibson for the rest of this week but it is a positive sign that he has gotten out of his walking boot. Nikola Mirotic will continue to get plenty of minutes off the Bulls' bench while Pau Gasol and Joakim Noah will also see a bump in fantasy value. Analysis: Drew Phelps
