UPDATES & NEWS
Update: Indians manager Terry Francona said Thursday that there remains no timetable for Michael Bourn's (hamstring) return.
Bourn's last game came on July 5 and he hasn't come close to playing since. The hamstring has been a chronic issue for him and the fact that there is still no timetable means that if you haven't already moved on from him, you probably should by now.ANALYST: Howard Bender
Jed Lowrie left Monday's game with a thumb injury. He's going back to Houston Tuesday for an MRI.
In all likelihood Jonathan Villar or Marwin Gonzalez will fill in for Lowrie if he misses extended time, but there's an outside chance the first-place Astros call up uber-prospect Carlos Correa for his first major league taste. Correa is murdering the Texas League (Double-A) to the tune of .375/.429/.719 with four home runs and two stolen bases. He's worth a speculative add in competitive leagues until the situation becomes more clear. Astros GM Jeff Luhnow has hinted that he wouldn't be scared to "lift" Correa straight from Double-A at some point. Analysis: Spencer Silva
