Chris Paul told ESPN that sitting out is a real possibility if Donald Sterling remains the owner at start of season.
This is a tough situation to evaluate. On the surface, I appreciate that Paul would stick to his principles, but at the end of the day, it's hard to believe that will be the case. If Sterling is still the owner when the season begins, it will be intriguing to see how this issue is resolved. Hopefully Sterling will just exit as he should and not cause much controversy as he heads out the door.ANALYST: David Kerr
Tigers are in discussions with Jordan Zimmermann.
There is nothing definite to this point, but reports have surfaced that Jordan Zimmermann is in "serious" discussions with the Tigers. Zimmermann would form a nice one-two punch with Justin Verlander atop the rotation in Detroit. Zimmermann was 13-10 in 2015 with a 3.66 ERA and 164 strikeouts in 201 2/3 innings pitched.
