#Browns WR Josh Gordon has checked himself into rehab after his recent DWI charge.
Although Gordon is awaiting his appeal hearing for his one-year suspension from the NFL, it appears he has taken the advice of those around him and will take the first step in trying to turn his life around. Battling addiction is not an easy task, as we have seen with many other players throughout the years, but at least he is now taking the right steps to not only return to football, but become a better person. Bryce Harper went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in the Nationals 3-0 win over the Cubs on Wednesday.
Harper launched his 18th home run of the season on Wednesday as the power everybody expected Harper to have has finally arrived. At 22 years old Harper is currently the best hitting in baseball, sporting a .333 average with 41 runs, 18 home runs and 43 RBI to go with an insane .472 OBP and 1.222 OPS. It may have taken him a bit longer than many had expected since being on the cover of Sports Illustrated at just 16 years old but baseball fans everywhere should take notice as he is finally showing the world just how talented he is.
