Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett on said, "We anticipate him (Tony Romo) being ready to go in all aspects," when camp starts Thursday.

Romo has been limited during all of mini camp and organized team activities due to a back surgery last December. He has suffered no setbacks and recovery has gone smoothly, so he should be good to go for camp on Thursday. ANALYST: Ben Diamond

Rajon Rondo is seeking only a one-year deal.

That might make sense for Rondo at this stage of his career, but this news doesn't really have any fantasy impact. Analysis: Brett Talley

Drew Smyly (shoulder) threw his second bullpen session Tuesday.

Smyly is still quite a ways away from getting back in games. When he might return is uncertain, and whether he returns at all this year is not decided. Smyly has opted not to have surgery on the type of injury that often results in surgery, so the rest and rehab plan is no guarantee to work. Analysis: Brett Talley

Sixers decline $1.18 million qualifying offer for Henry Sims.

Since no qualifying offer was made to Sims, he will now become an unrestricted free agent. But if the worst team in the league had no interest in making a qualifying offer, the odds are good that the market for Sims won't be too hot. Analysis: Brett Talley

Henderson Alvarez (shoulder) threw a 30-pitch bullpen session Tuesday and could begin a rehab assignment after the All-Star break.

Alvarez carries a career 12.6 percent strikeout rate, so his fantasy value is pretty limited. He can provide slightly above average run prevention and ratio help, but that alone is not worth much outside of deeper leagues. Analysis: Brett Talley

Pelicans will be making a push to re-sign C Omer Asik.

Asik averaged 7.3 points per game and 9.8 rebounds per game in 26.1 minutes per game with New Orleans last year. He ranked 11th in the league in rebounds per 48 minutes. Analysis: Brett Talley

Knicks have some interest in Paul Millsap, but his possible price range of $17-19 million per season would be too high for New York.

Quite a few teams apparently have interest in Millsap, and the Hawks are reportedly intent on keeping him. We'll reserve theorizing about how a move might affect his fantasy value until he signs somewhere. Analysis: Brett Talley

Update: Aaron Sanchez (lat) is expected to throw bullpen sessions on Wednesday and Saturday.

Sanchez had 42 walks and 37 strikeouts in 66 innings prior to his injury, so he shouldn't be an option when he gets healthy. Don't be fooled by his 3.55 ERA. His xFIP is a full run higher at 4.55/ Analysis: Brett Talley

Shane Robinson (illness) has been scratched from Tuesday's lineup.

Robinson has just 121 plate appearances on the year, so the illness is costing him a rare opportunity to start. Even when he plays, he provides little outside of a bit of speed. Analysis: Brett Talley

Jarrod Dyson has been dealing with a groin injury.

Dyson has eight steals in just 36 plate appearances this year. The speed is nice, but you simply can't roster a guy who almost never starts outside of the deepest of leagues. Analysis: Brett Talley

Zach Ertz is expected to see an increase in snaps this season.

Ertz was a popular sleeper pick heading into last season due to his size and athleticism but he failed to meet those expectations despite being in a high powered offense. This news should once again bolster his fantasy appeal heading into the season as the departure of key players like Jeremy Maclin could open up the middle of the field. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Michael Cuddyer left Tuesday's game with a sore left knee. He will have an MRI on Wednesday.

Cuddyer is struggling with the Mets this season, hitting .243 with 31 runs, six home runs and 28 RBI. Cuddyer should be considered day-to-day for now but there is little upside to his fantasy value now that he no longer calls Coors home. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Jimmy Butler postponed meetings with teams after receiving a max qualifying offer from the Bulls.

Seeing as the Bulls have the ability to offer Butler more money in their max offer than other teams it seems all but certain that Butler will return to the Bulls despite being rumored to be in talks with the Lakers about a possible short term deal. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Kings will not issue a qualifying offer to F Derrick Williams.

Williams was the No.2 overall pick back in 2011 but has never developed into the type of player many projected when he came out of college. He is however a solid bench player who has the ability to play a stretch forward while also contributing on the glass. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba
