Phoenix Suns president Lon Babby remains committed to keeping Eric Bledsoe with the team.
Bledsoe and the Suns were pretty far apart in negotiations with regard to both years and dollars, so this could be a fairly lengthy process if they hope to sign him.The only thing really working in the team's favor is the reduced demand out there for him. They'll probably come to some sort of eventual agreement, but it won't be without its fair share of drama as well.ANALYST: Howard Bender
Chris Carter went 2-for-4 with two RBI in the Astros 6-3 loss to the White Sox on Friday.
Carter has a six game hitting streak going which has helped raise his batting average from .157 to .185. Carter owners have to understand the type of player he is and know that while he has outstanding power there will be plenty of strikeouts and a low batting average. Those hoping for a repeat performance of 2014 should be reminded that he had 13 home runs and a .184 batting average heading into July before mashing 24 home runs over the final three months of the season.
