Clayton Kershaw's scoreless innings streak came to an end Sunday against the Cardinals as he gave up three runs while striking out eight over seven innings for a no-decision.
The three runs allowed by Kershaw matched his total allowed over his previous seven starts combined. The leading candidate for the NL CY Young award will look to get back to his dominate ways in his next start on Saturday in San Fran against the team he and the Dodgers are now tied with for the NL West division lead in the Giants who lost to the Marlins on Sunday 3-2.ANALYST: Michael Pichan
Michael Brantley (back) has returned to the Indians' lineup Sunday.
Brantley was out of the lineup as precaution and now seems to be 100 percent healthy. Brantley was one of the most improved players last season, which has greatly increased his fantasy value as some people are drafting him in the second or third round in fantasy drafts. He'll have to have another strong season in order to return value on that high of a draft pick. Analysis: Mark Kaplan
