UPDATES & NEWS
Daniel Nava went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI in Sunday's 6-0 win over the Royals.
Nava has been impressive in his two starts since returning from the All-Star break, logging three hits over his first three games. The Red Sox outfielder is now slashing .355/.429/.387 in the month of July, so he should continue to see regular at-bats at least until he cools off. He makes for a decent outfield pickup for those in deep league formats, just don't expect see last years' 12 homer-66 RBI type of production because you will be sadly mistaken. ANALYST: Matthew Beck
Update: Corey Dickerson was removed from Saturday's game with a left quad injury.
While the news regarding Dickerson's plantar fasciitis was positive, he was removed after he fouled a ball off his back leg and is now day-to-day with what the team is calling a quad injury. When his leg appeared to be swollen, manager Walt Weiss opted to play it safe and remove Dickerson who had gone 0-for-3 in Saturday's game against the Giants. Consider him day-to-day for right now and figure he'll be a game-time decision for Sunday. Analysis: Howard Bender
