Jeff Samardzija gave up four runs on six hits and a walk with just four strikeouts over seven innings of the no-decision Friday against the Orioles.

Samardzija was in line for the loss Friday night, but the A's offense bailed him out in the bottom of the ninth as they came back from being down 4-2 to win 5-4 on a Josh Donaldson three-run, walk-off home run. The Shark was anything but that for the second consecutive outing with his new team as he has now allowed seven runs over his last 15 innings pitched. He will look to get back to his dominating ways in his next start at home Thursday against the Astros.
