Derek Jeter followed up his multi-hit performance in the All-Star game with another one Friday going 2-for-4 with two base hits and two runs scored in the win over the Reds.

The multi-hit game was his 27th in 84 games, (28th if you want to be cute a cut the retiring shortstop a break), and his fourth over his last six games raising his season average to .275. Jeter is hitting .346 (9-for-26) over that six game span and is worth owning for his improving success at the plate in addition for what he can contribute in the often ignored runs scored category (33 runs).
