The New England Patriots signed WR Tyler McDonald.
McDonald stands almost no shot at making this team given the number of wide receivers coming back from last season and sitting in camp. Tom Brady sticks with what he knows and that means the receivers who he has the best rapport with are going to get the targets. That means Julian Edelman, Aaron Dobson, maybe Danny Amendola and maybe Kenbrell Thompkins. Even Brandon LaFell will sits above McDonald here, so this guy is practice squad material at best.ANALYST: Howard Bender
Kyle Schwarber was reassigned to minor league camp.
A top pick in the 2014 draft, Schwarber is a great hitter who's biggest question mark is what position he will play. The stick is ahead of the glove, so the Cubs may chose to speed up his ETA and stick him in the outfield. In that case, he could be MLB ready in 2016 and fantasy relevant soon after that.
