No matter when Green signs an extension, he is going to get paid--big time. He is one of the top three receivers in the NFL and will be paid accordingly when the time is right. You can expect another colossal season from Green in 2014.ANALYST: David Kerr
The 76ers have waived JaVale McGee.
McGee, oddly enough, came out and said he wanted to be a "mentor" to the young players on the Sixers after arriving at the trade deadline. Just a few weeks late, McGee will be packing his bags, hoping he picks up with a contender. The seven-footer reportedly will not have to give back any money in a buyout, and is owed the remainder of his $11.2 million contract, along with $12 million next year. Analysis: Spencer Silva
