Jean Segura (personal) rejoined the Brewers on Thursday morning and will be available for the team's weekend series with the Nationals.
Segura left the team last week after he discovered that his son passed away in the Dominican Republic after suffering a rather common illness. It is hard to imagine he will be able to put this tragedy behind him after just a few days, but fantasy owners can expect to have him for fantasy purposes regardless. ANALYST: Matthew Beck
Phillies recalled Cody Asche from Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
The Phillies seem ready to commit to Asche as their new starting left fielder which certainly gums up the outfield configuration for veterans like Ben Revere, Grady Sizemore and Jeff Francoeur. It also displaces Darin Ruf. While they may be happy with the defensive work he did down in the minors, Asche's bat never really heated up, so the team is still going to have some serious offensive woes. This plan may have looked good on paper, but it should be re-visited in a couple of weeks to see how things are panning out. Analysis: Howard Bender
