MLB commissioner Bud Selig said the league wasn't aware of any exemption that New York Yankees 3B Alex Rodriguez had to use a testosterone-boosting substance in 2007.
Just when I thought I had forgot about A-Rod, this story pops up. Look, this story is so played out that my brain literally hurts. The real story is whether or not A-Rod will rejoin the Yankees after his 162 game suspension is up. What a circus it could be next March!ANALYST: David Kerr
Sean Marshall (shoulder) has resumed throwing from flat ground.
Marshall was shut down at the beginning of spring training with shoulder soreness, but has resumed throwing. Last June, Marshall underwent season ending shoulder surgery after making just 15 appearances in 2014. The only thing scarier than last season's 7.71 ERA is the fact that he has had some sort of shoulder injury in each of the last three seasons. Leave this guy off your draft board. Nathan Eovaldi has been working on improving his splitter during spring training.
Eovaldi is more of a thrower than a pitcher right now, but the Yankees are hoping he can develop into a mainstay in their rotation. Even though he hasn't had a winning season in his four year career, his velocity is hope for optimism. Eovaldi got knocked around a lot last year, but he doesn't walk many batters, something else the Yankees are excited about. Eovaldi is going late in drafts and there is some solid value to be had if he can take the next step forward. Analysis: Colby Conway
