Should Bengals WR A.J. Green have at least 1,350 yards receiving and 10 touchdowns this season he would become just the third player in NFL history to do so in three straight seasons.
Only Marvin Harrison (1999-02) and Jerry Rice (1993-95) have accomplished the feat. Green had 1,350 yards during his sophomore campaign and 1,426 last season with 11 touchdowns in each year. If his targets don't diminish with a full year of Marvin Jones and more work for the tight ends, it doesn't seem like the yards will be a problem. Obviously, he's a red zone favorite of Andy Dalton, so let's just pencil him for now and we'll go over the record book with ink when the season ends.ANALYST: Howard Bender
Kyle Schwarber is not in the Cubs lineup on Monday.
Manager Joe Maddon has made it abundantly clear that Schwarber isn't going anywhere, even when Miguel Montero completes his rehab assignment. Monday night simply appears to be regular rest for the young backstop, so David Ross is catching instead and batting seventh. On FanDuel, Ross is listed at a very affordable $2,200, so he might worth a look in daily formats considering the starting nod tonight. Analysis: Dom Murtha
David Amerson suffered a shoulder injury in Monday's practice.
This is not a good sign for the young corner, who regressed mightily last season, grading out as one of the worst CB's in the league last season. If he wanted to get back in the coaching staff's favor, training camp was going to be the place to do it, but unfortunately he was injured on Monday afternoon. The good news here is that the injury doesn't seem to be too serious, so he might have a chance to prove himself going forward. Analysis: Dom Murtha
