Corey Kluber was tagged for four runs on eight hits and two walks with five strikeouts over six innings against the White Sox on Friday.

Just not a good outing for the young right-hander but nothing to worry about here. He's still maintaining a strong strikeout rate, he's not walking a bunch of guys and usually he keeps the runs off the board. The White Sox just got to him here. It happens. He still comes into the break with a 3.01 ERA, a 1.20 WHIP and 142 strikeouts over 131.2 innings. ANALYST: Howard Bender

Mike Napoli is not in the Red Sox starting lineup Tuesday.

Napoli will sit for the second-straight day as he deal with an illness. He's simply day-to-day and there shouldn't be any long-term concerns here. Daniel Nava will get the start at first base once again. Analysis: Howard Bender

Chiefs LT Eric Fisher said he is the healthiest he's ever felt and ready to go.

Fisher started all 16 games last season, and protected quarterback Alex Smith's blindside for all but eight snaps. The team will go with him as their left tackle again this season and they would love for him to end the year as one of the better tackles in the league. Fisher was drafted first overall in the 2013 NFL draft. Analysis: Colby Conway

Texans general manager Rick Smith is pleased with Jadaveon Clowney's progress. Expects him to be a "major contributor" for the Texans this year.

Clowney, the top pick in the draft last season, played in just four games last season for Houston. He registered just seven tackles and failed to record a sack. Houston is hoping that he can be a major contributor this season alongside J.J. Watt and Vince Wilfork. If all works out, Houston is expected to have the best defensive line in football. Analysis: Colby Conway

Texans are discussing whether they will pick up option on LB Whitney Mercilus.

Houston drafted Mercilus 26th overall in the 2012 NFL draft with the hopes that he would develop into a star outside linebacker. In the past three seasons, he has missed just one game, while recorded 122 tackles, 18 sacks, and four fumble recoveries. We will be able to formulate a stronger opinion on this after the Thursday draft. Analysis: Colby Conway

Pelicans coach Monty Williams said Tuesday re-signing C Omer Asik and the health of PG Jrue Holiday are two big issues for next season.

Asik provided some great defense in the lane, but his minimal offensive impact could force the team to look for a more offensive-minded center to play alongside Anthony Davis in the paint. It's been reported that Holiday might undergo another surgical procedure on his lower right leg, the same one he has had problems with in the past. Holiday played in just 40 games during the regular season. Analysis: Colby Conway

Domonic Brown has been reinstated from the 15-day disabled list and optioned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Brown has an Achilles injury and has kept him out of the lineup for every game thus far this season. He is expected to max out his rehab eligibility, so he should return to the Philadelphia lineup rather soon. He should receive prominent playing time in the outfield right away. Analysis: Colby Conway

Mike Moustakas appears to be reborn. For the first time in his major league career, he is driving the ball with authority to all fields. His power is still there, as Moustakas is tied for the team lead with three home runs, but suddenly, he looks like a more complete hitter.

Moustakas is hitting .342 on the year with three home runs, seven RBI, 16 runs and even one stolen base. The 2015 version of Moustakas is what the team envisioned of him when they first called him up to the majors. After some rough stretches, it finally seems that he has figured it out at the plate, which is what the Royals have desperately wanted. He has been an integral part of the Royals' early season success. Analysis: Colby Conway

Astros top prospect Carlos Correa is putting up some big numbers at Double-A Corpus Christi to begin the 2015 season.

Correa's numbers this past week were gaudy, en route to being named the Texas League Player of the Week. This past week, he is hitting .435 (10-for-23) with eight runs, three home runs, two doubles and seven RBI. For the season as a whole, he is hitting .382 while leading the league in doubles, RBI, slugging percentage, extra-base hits, runs and total bases. Correa is making a strong case for a call-up and owners who have an open spot may want to use it on the star-to-be. Analysis: Colby Conway

Angels are not involved in trade talks for Jarrod Saltalamacchia, as previously reported.

The Marlins are likely going to move forward with J.T. Realmuto and Jeff Mathis as their catchers, making Salty the odd man out. He was designated for assignment yesterday, but could be claimed by a team in need of some veteran catching help. Unless he walks into a situation where he is guaranteed playing time, Salty can be left off most fantasy rosters at this juncture. Analysis: Colby Conway

Josh Hamilton looks healthy and will participate in throwing and conditioning drills Tuesday. He might hit in the cage as well.

Hamilton is on the 15-day DL with a shoulder injury, so while his return is nearing, it still isn't expected to come until the middle part of May. He was traded to the Rangers on Monday and many believe this will be good for the outfielder. He was never the same player he was in Texas when he went to the Angels, so the possibility of returning home could be good for his psyche.  Analysis: Colby Conway

Dion Jordan is being suspended for the 2015 season for another substance abuse policy violation.

Jordan has been a non-factor in his first two NFL seasons as the No.3 overall pick in 2013 will now sit out an entire season. The Dolphins could decide to part ways with Jordan which would be a tough pill to swallow give their draft pick investment. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

The NFL reportedly fines the Jets $100,000, but no loss of draft pick for Darrelle Revis tampering.

Somewhat surprising there was not a draft pick compensation here given the precedent set earlier in Goodells tenure where the 49ers had to forfeit a 5th round pick to the Bears back in 2008 for tampering with Lance Briggs who ultimately stayed with the Bears. Seeing that Revis ended up leaving the Patriots to the Jets many in New England were likely hoping for better compensation. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba
