Adrian Beltre went 3-for-4 with a home run, one RBI and two runs scored against the Angels on Thursday.
There has been very little to talk about in regards to the Rangers season, but Beltre has certainly done his part. He is now first in the American League in batting (.341 BA) which has been aided by hitting .429 (16-for-40) in the month of July. Even if his recent surge was to fall off slightly in the second half, his power production (13 HR and 50 RBI) will be enough to keep him near the top of the rankings at third base.ANALYST: Matthew Beck
Zach Miller caught two passes on seven targets for 10 yards and a TD on Thursday night vs Green Bay.
Miller got the start in place of the injured Martellus Bennett on Thursday night. In all, he finished with two catches and a touchdown on seven targets, looking mediocre, however doing his best with the hand he was dealt. Anyone who started him in daily leagues could have expected better, however it is a bit spoiled to come away with much more than a TD as a definite backup. Consider him a wise play on Thursday night, and a keen start going forward at least until Bennett comes back healthy. Analysis: Dom Murtha
