Domonic Brown went 1-for-4 with a two-run single in the eighth inning in Thursday's win over the Brewers.
With Grady Sizemore lurking on the Phillies bench, Brown has been starting to perform better over his last three games, registering five RBI and two runs scored. However, he is still sitting on a .224 average with only six home runs and 44 RBI, so unless he either finds his power stroke or starts hitting for a better average he is in serious danger of losing at-bats in the second half of the season. Zach Miller caught two passes on seven targets for 10 yards and a TD on Thursday night vs Green Bay.
Miller got the start in place of the injured Martellus Bennett on Thursday night. In all, he finished with two catches and a touchdown on seven targets, looking mediocre, however doing his best with the hand he was dealt. Anyone who started him in daily leagues could have expected better, however it is a bit spoiled to come away with much more than a TD as a definite backup. Consider him a wise play on Thursday night, and a keen start going forward at least until Bennett comes back healthy. Analysis: Dom Murtha
