Norichika Aoki (groin) will require at least six or seven rehab games before returning.
Aoki has been a disappointment since being traded to the Royals, but he will look to improve when he returns from the disabled list. It was reported that Aoki would return this week, but given the fact that he is going to play a full week of rehab games, it sounds as though a return right after the All-Star break is more realistic.ANALYST: David Kerr
Jed Lowrie left Monday's game with a thumb injury. He's going back to Houston Tuesday for an MRI.
In all likelihood Jonathan Villar or Marwin Gonzalez will fill in for Lowrie if he misses extended time, but there's an outside chance the first-place Astros call up uber-prospect Carlos Correa for his first major league taste. Correa is murdering the Texas League (Double-A) to the tune of .375/.429/.719 with four home runs and two stolen bases. He's worth a speculative add in competitive leagues until the situation becomes more clear. Astros GM Jeff Luhnow has hinted that he wouldn't be scared to "lift" Correa straight from Double-A at some point. Analysis: Spencer Silva
