League source says the Thunder, once confident they had a legit chance at Pau Gasol, now consider it a long shot to land Gasol.
Just last week, we all thought it was a done deal that Pau Gasol would be a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder but those thoughts have been downgraded to "a long shot." Gasol has been linked to the Lakers, Knicks and Heat, and has at least been contacted by the Warriors, Mavericks and Bulls. This might all come down to the all mighty dollar because the Lakers still have the biggest bargaining chip being able to offer the money most of any of those teams mentioned above. Dwyane Wade (knee) is listed as questionable for Friday's game.
Wade didn't play on Wednesday due to a sore knee, so of course he is questionable for Friday. If he isn't in the starting lineup, Mario Chalmers will once again get the start and see a bump in value. Wade has been relatively healthy this season and has produced in a big way in the process. He's averaging 21.6 points and 5.2 assists per game. Analysis: David Kerr
Ross Detwiler has made the Rangers starting rotation.
There are far worse pitchers with starting jobs in baseball, so Detwiler is deserving of this chance. He's bounced back and forth between the starting rotation and the bullpen while pitching for the Nationals, but should settle in as a member of the Rangers' rotation. He has solid value in AL-Only leagues. Analysis: David Kerr
