Yankees are hopeful pitcher Michael Pineda (shoulder) can progress to throwing off a mound by the end of the week or early next week.
Pineda started throwing from 60 feet last week and then graduated to 90 feet over the weekend. While there's still no timetable for his return, given the setbacks he's incurred, throwing from a mound is goign to be a major step in the right direction for him. From there it's about bullpen sessions and batting practice which leaves rehab outings as the final step.ANALYST: Howard Bender
Davante Adams (ankle) has been downgraded to doubtful for Week 5.
The ankle just isn't showing enough improvement, so the Packers seem to be taking him out of the conversation for Week 5 now. It's been a disappointing opening to the season for Adams who many fantasy owners mistakenly overrated coming into the season. We don't want to say he's a bust just yet, but with just nine catches for 92 yards over three games and now an injury that has lingered for two weeks, he's not the most desirable option.
