An MRI performed on Indians OF Michael Bourn confirms mild to moderate left hamstring strain. He is expected to be out 3-4 weeks.

Bourn was forced out of Saturday's game with the injury and it seems to be the same hamstring that he had surgery on last year and that has given him problems throughout this season. Tyler Holt has taken Bourn's spot on the roster. ANALYST: Drew Phelps

Former Packers wide receiver Kevin Dorsey is working out for the Jets Tuesday, according to his agent.

Dorsey had one catch last year for four yards before landing on injured reserve with a broken bone in his foot. He is not considered to be a strong option, so landing on the Jets with a lousy quarterback certainly isn't going to make him better. Analysis: Howard Bender

Kevin Love (illness) missed Tuesday's shoot around. He is probable for tonight's game.

Keep an eye on this closer to game time. If he is still not feeling well, he may not see his usual minutes and therefore be a limited option in daily play. Analysis: Howard Bender

Mitch Moreland likely won't play for the Rangers in spring games until next week. He'll run the bases Tuesday on his rebuilt left ankle.

Morleand is penciled in as the Rangers DH this season, but until he is able to start regular work, his status for Opening Day will remain questionable. Once he runs the bases, things can progress from there, so monitor him closely. Analysis: Howard Bender

Suns agree to a second 10-Day contract with Earl Barron.

Barron had played on a 10-day contract with the Suns earlier in the season and now they will bring him back in the wake of the Miles Plumlee trade. He does not have any fantasy relevance though. Analysis: Howard Bender

Kyrie Irving participated in shoot around. He'll be a game-time decision against the Boston Celtics Tuesday.

Irving is actually expected to return Tuesday from his sprained shoulder, but the Cavs will wait until closer to tip-off to make the final decision. If he doesn't, then expect Iman Shumpert to lead the way at point guard. Analysis: Howard Bender

DeMarcus Cousins (sprained left ankle) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the New York Knicks.

Cousins has already missed the last two games with the sprained ankle and looks like he just might miss a third here on Tuesday. Look for him to be a game time decision. If he doesn't play, Reggie Evans should see a considerable increase in his usual playing time. Analysis: Howard Bender

Tony Parker plans on playing in Eurobasket 2015.

So long as he doesn't take any unnecessary risks with his health, the Spurs shouldn't have any concerns here. This shouldn't have any effect on his fantasy value. Analysis: Howard Bender

Miguel Cabrera will take batting practice Tuesday for the second day in a row.

With no reported setbacks, Cabrera will stay the course and continue to do exactly what he's been doing. With Opening Day remaining a possibility, look for the Tigers to closely monitor him and ensure that the slightest issue gets dealt with immediately. Analysis: Howard Bender

Jayson Werth (shoulder) is doing ground ball drills Tuesday, but not throwing.

It's going to take Werth some time to get back into the swing of things. He hasn't begun to throw just yet and he isn't taking cuts in the cage either. The Nationals will bring him along slowly and his status for Opening Day remains in question. Consider the potential slow start and possible power issues due to shoulder problems when drafting. Analysis: Howard Bender

Wei-Yin Chen will start the Orioles afternoon split-squad game at Tampa bay Thursday.

Chen posted a solid season last year with 16 wins, a 3.54 ERA and an impressive 3.89 K/BB over 185.2 innings. He saw his ground ball rate spike to 41-percent which works well when your home park is Camden Yards and the team is looking for him to maybe take a step forward this season.  Analysis: Howard Bender

Ned Yost hopes Alex Gordon will be able to take batting practice by next Tuesday.

Gordon has been progressing well recently. He had the cast removed and was playing catch early last week and by the end of the week he was hitting off a tee. If he can take BP next week it shouldn't be long before he starts playing in exhibition games. Opening Day continues to look like a realistic possibility. Analysis: Howard Bender

Luke Ridnour (hamstring) is questionable for Wednesday's game.

Ridnour pulled up a little lame during Sunday's game and did not practice Monday. Consider him day-to-day for now, but since his impact on the court is minimal, he is not going to be missed by anyone. Analysis: Howard Bender

Yordano Ventura will start Friday and throw 2 innings.

Ventura had a real nice debut last year, although after experiencing some minor elbow issues, he made a few adjustments and while the results were positive, he did not post his usual strikeout numbers. It should be interesting to see if he regains that at all or if things stay the same for him. Analysis: Howard Bender

Colts gave backup QB Matt Hasselbeck a $1 million signing bonus on the new 1-year, $3M deal he signed last week.

It's a nice gesture and certainly an improvement on the team's back-up situation. He won't see much time on the field though unless there's a major injury to Andrew Luck. Analysis: Howard Bender Mobile App
