Jeff Samardzija was dominate in his debut with the A's Sunday as he held the Blue Jays to just one run on four hits and one walk with five strikeouts in the win.
The All-Star (even though he can not participate) shined in his first start with his new team. With the win Sunday he now has half the number of victories he was awarded in 17 starts as a member of the Cubs. His next start will be a must see TV matchup in Seattle on Friday opposite King Felix.ANALYST: Michael Pichan
Derrick Rose will not play against the Bucks Wednesday.
Rose was doing full-contact drills Monday and participating in 5-on-5 work Tuesday. He's building up his conditioning and it shouldn't be much longer before he's back on the court. How many minutes he logs per game once he does return might be in question as the Bulls are looking more towards the playoffs than anything else. Analysis: Howard Bender
Terrence Jones (ribs, lung) wil play Wednesday.
Jones has missed the last six games with a collapsed lung, so to see him get back on the court Wednesday is great news just from a humanistic standpoint. If he can continue to shine glass as he's done throughout the season (7.3 boards per game), then he'll be a nice asset down the stretch. Analysis: Howard Bender
