Joey Votto is likely headed back to the disabled list with a strained left quad, the same injury as before.
This guy just can't catch a break. Votto has really struggled this season with only six home runs and a .255 batting average. Do not drop him, but fantasy owners will have to put him in their D.L. spot. Now is not the time to buy low on Votto.ANALYST: Mark Kaplan
Kendrys Morales went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored in the Royals 7-1 win over the Twins on Monday.
Morales is raking to start the season, hitting .358 with 12 runs, two home runs and nine RBI as the Royals everyday DH and cleanup hitter. 2014 was a lost year for Morales as he struggled to find a role with the Mariners and Twins but he showed capable of being a productive player over the two seasons prior where he hits a combined 45 home runs over the two years. Morales was one of the more promising offensive players in the league before a devastating ankle injury nearly ended his career in 2010 but if his hot start is any indication of things to come those who took a chance on Kendrys could be in for a solid season.
