Edwin Encarnacion said, "I felt (a) pop before I touched the base. That's why after I touched the base I let my body go to the ground."
E5 added, "It (right leg/quad) feels better than it was before so we'll see tomorrow (Sunday) after the MRI." Early indications are that the Blue Jays slugger is headed to the disabled list, but for now we will have to wait and hope for the best as the team will not make a decision until they see how he feels Sunday and of course pending the results of the MRI.ANALYST: Michael Pichan
Kendrys Morales went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored in the Royals 7-1 win over the Twins on Monday.
Morales is raking to start the season, hitting .358 with 12 runs, two home runs and nine RBI as the Royals everyday DH and cleanup hitter. 2014 was a lost year for Morales as he struggled to find a role with the Mariners and Twins but he showed capable of being a productive player over the two seasons prior where he hits a combined 45 home runs over the two years. Morales was one of the more promising offensive players in the league before a devastating ankle injury nearly ended his career in 2010 but if his hot start is any indication of things to come those who took a chance on Kendrys could be in for a solid season.
