UPDATES & NEWS
Freddie Freeman went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored against the Diamondbacks on Friday.
The Braves have been hot, with Friday's win being their eighth in a row and Freeman has been one of the main reasons for their recent success. He is now 7-for-22 with five RBI and six runs scored over his last seven games, which has him now sitting on a .293 average with 13 home runs and 46 RBI up to this point. Although his power production may have cool off some after a hot start, he is still one of the best first basemen to own as we head into the All-Star break. ANALYST: Matthew Beck
Update: Corey Dickerson was removed from Saturday's game with a left quad injury.
While the news regarding Dickerson's plantar fasciitis was positive, he was removed after he fouled a ball off his back leg and is now day-to-day with what the team is calling a quad injury. When his leg appeared to be swollen, manager Walt Weiss opted to play it safe and remove Dickerson who had gone 0-for-3 in Saturday's game against the Giants. Consider him day-to-day for right now and figure he'll be a game-time decision for Sunday. Analysis: Howard Bender
