Billy Hamilton went 1-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and a run scored in Friday's 4-2 win over the Brewers.
Prior to the start of the 2014 season, the Reds center fielder was not know for his power stroke, but has now managed to hit five home runs up to this point, putting him on pace to reach double-digits in that category by season's end. He is now slashing .279/.309/.408 with five home runs, 30 RBI, 41 runs scored and 35 stolen bases, which is very respectable for a first year starter. ANALYST: Matthew Beck
Aldon Smith said he is "hungry" to bounce back in 2015.
While that's all well and good, the bottom line is that Smith needs to stay focused on the field and out of trouble off it. His suspension really hurt the 49ers defense and with a new regime taking over, he needs to really prove that he's more than just a problem child. He can be one of the best in the game if he's focused, so if he's really that hungry, the 49ers will let him eat. Analysis: Howard Bender
