Ian Desmond went 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBI and a run scored in Wednesday's win over the Rockies. 

Although Desmond is just 5-for-26 (.192 BA) over his last seven games, he has managed to give his fantasy owners something to be happy with, with three extra-base hits (1 HR), five RBI and two runs scored in that span. He is now sitting on a career-low .236 average, but is on pace to reach career-highs in both home runs (15) and RBI (51) if he stays on this pace. As long as his power stroke continues show up he remains a top option at his position regardless of his batting average.
