Daisuke Matsuzaka allowed five runs on seven hits and three walks with five strikeouts over five innings against the Braves on Tuesday.

The wheels have now started to come off, as Matsuzaka has now allowed five earned runs in each of his last two starts, falling to 3-3 with a 3.72 ERA and 1.34 WHIP through 58.0 innings. He has performed much better in the bullpen for the Mets this season, but until the team is ready to promote some of their youngsters, expect Dice-K to remain in the starting rotation moving forward. He will look to get back on track when he takes on the Braves on Monday.ANALYST: Matthew Beck Mobile App
