Daisuke Matsuzaka allowed five runs on seven hits and three walks with five strikeouts over five innings against the Braves on Tuesday.
The wheels have now started to come off, as Matsuzaka has now allowed five earned runs in each of his last two starts, falling to 3-3 with a 3.72 ERA and 1.34 WHIP through 58.0 innings. He has performed much better in the bullpen for the Mets this season, but until the team is ready to promote some of their youngsters, expect Dice-K to remain in the starting rotation moving forward. He will look to get back on track when he takes on the Braves on Monday.ANALYST: Matthew Beck
Mo Williams (knee) will play Friday against the Wizards.
As he has been playing through this knee issue, Williams' shooting percentage has been dreadfully low (23-percent). Considering this, do exactly what the Hornets are doing: play him with caution. Williams is a tealented guard, but be reasonable with your expectations, as he has struggled with his shot while dealing with the injury. Analysis: Dom Murtha
Brad Miller not in the Mariners lineup Friday because of an illness.
Considering Miller committed an atrocious 18 errors in a mere 107 games last season, one would be led to believe that he has the plate presence of Tony Gwynn in order to hold down the Mariners starting shortstop position, however that is not at all the case, as Miller hit a lowly .221, with 10 homers, 36 RBI, and boasted an inexcuseable .288 OBP in 2014. Stay away from him in drafts. Analysis: Dom Murtha
