Mike Trout went a combined 3-for-8 with a home run, a double, two walks, three RBI and a run scored as the Angels took both games of Tuesday's double header from the White Sox.
The 22-year old phenom now has a home run frequency of one every 15.5 at-bats, which is sixth best among AL qualified hitters and is on-pace for a 40/20 season.ANALYST: Michael Pichan
Marc Krauss went 1-for-4 with a solo home run on Thursday in Toronto.
Krauss is hitting only .150 with a .350 slugging percentage after launching his first home run of the season. It was just his seventh game of the season, but there’s no doubt he’ll need to cut down on the strikeouts if he’s ever going to be able to showcase the decent pop he has. The left-handed hitter was called up from AAA to try and infuse some offense in Anaheim and was slugging .639 over his past 10 games. With Matt Joyce really struggling, expect Krauss to steal some of his at-bats over the next few weeks. Analysis: Kevin Luchansky
