Baltimore has traded LB Rolando McClain to the Dallas Cowboys

The troubled/disgruntled/disturbed head case that is Rolando McClain who will end his one-year retirement and now become a teammate of Jason Witten whom McClain was responsible for lacerating his spleen a couple seasons ago. Bet that will go over well with their veteran tight end. The deal reportedly has the Cowboys sending a sixth-round pick to the Ravens, for McClain and a seventh-round pick.ANALYST: Michael Pichan

Rodney Stuckey (wrist) will play Wednesday against the Celtics.

Stuckey's wrist is bothersome but not enough to hold him out of game action. He'll play his usual role off the bench Wednesday. Analysis: Howard Bender

C.J. Miles (ankle) will play Wednesday against the Celtics.

It looks like the ankle roll from Tuesday wasn't as bad as originally thought. Miles tested it out during the morning shootaround and during late afternoon work and all seems well. He is expected to start at shooting guard and see his usual minutes. Analysis: Howard Bender

Update: Jason Richardson (knee) will play Wednesday against the Wizards.

Richardson is always day-to-day given the fact that he's extremely fragile, but he will suit up against Washington on Wednesday night. Even when he does play he doesn't see consistent minutes, so he can be avoided in all formats. Analysis: David Kerr

Tim Hardaway Jr (wrist) will not play Wednesday against the Nets.

Hardaway has been dealing with wrist pain for several weeks and will once again be out of action on Wednesday night. At this point, it seems realistic that the Knicks will just choose to shut him down. Analysis: David Kerr

Update: Spencer Dinwiddie (ankle) will not pay Wednesday against the Hornets.

This is a tough blow for Dinwiddie considering that he's stepped his game up over the last month. This injury isn't thought to be serious, but the Pistons may choose to hold him out of action for a few days. Consider him day-to-day for now. Analysis: David Kerr

Mark Appel will start the year at Double-A Corpus Christi.

Appel is the Astros' top pitching prospect, though his stock isn't what it once was. If he is able to steamroll through Double-A, he will be on the fast track to the majors and could make his debut in the latter part of 2015. Analysis: David Kerr

Reggie Jackson (illness) will play Wednesday against the Hornets.

Jackson got sick during Tuesday's game against Atlanta, but appears to feel well enough to play against the Hornets on Wednesday night. The Pistons were hoping that Jackson would be able to play since Spencer Dinwiddie is dealing with an ankle injury and will not play. Analysis: David Kerr

Jets have re-signed OT Ben Ijalana.

Ijalana filled a backup role with the Jets last year and will once again have the same role in 2015. Analysis: David Kerr

Jesse Chavez did not sound overly thrilled with going into the bullpen. He said he hasn't been told "but the writing's on the wall."

The A's are going to give the final rotation spot to Kendall Graveman which leaves Chavez in the bullpen. It's possible that he will be traded, but that doesn't seem likely. Instead, he will fill the long reliever role in Oakland's bullpen. It's worth noting though that if either Graveman or Drew Pomeranz were to falter, Chavez would most likely get a chance to hold down a rotation spot. Analysis: David Kerr

Al Jefferson will have his knee drained before Wednesday's game but is expected to play.

This will be the third time that Jefferson will have had his knee drained this month, so it seems likely that he will have some type of procedure done during the offseason to fix the root of the problem. He will soldier through his knee issue as the Hornets fight for the final playoff spot in the East Analysis: David Kerr

Kris Humphries (groin) will play Wednesday night.

Humphries has been out since February 25, so he will clearly be on a minutes limit. Still, this is great news for the Wizards as they can certainly use the depth as they march towards the playoffs. Analysis: David Kerr

Dewayne Dedmon will be active Wednesday night for the Magic against the Spurs.

Not only is Dedmon active for the Magic on Wednesday--he's going to start. Though he will likely provide solid rebounding numbers, he hasn't shown the ability to have strong scoring games and that limits his fantasy value. Analysis: David Kerr
