Ryan Braun went 2-for-4 with a triple, two RBI and two runs scored during the Brewers' 7-4 win over the Rockies on Saturday.
Braun is now 8-for-25 with two extra-base hits, six RBI and five runs scored over his last six games, which is a stretch that includes three multi-hit performances. Now slashing .287/.339/.492 with 10 home runs and 45 RBI through 258 at-bats, Braun continues to have himself a solid season following last year's suspension. ANALYST: Matthew Beck
Orioles are expected to option Tyler Wilson to Triple-A Norfolk.
Wilson's demotion to Triple-A will clear a spot in the bullpen for Oliver Drake, who's been pitching unbelievably well in Triple-A. Wilson hasn't been particularly bad since being called up, appearing in two games and posting a 4.50 ERA and a 2.50 WHIP, but Drake's performance appears to have have won him the opportunity to take that next step. Athletics recalled Kendall Graveman from Triple-A Nashville.
Graveman will make the start in today's game against the Rays as a result of Drew Pomeranz being placed on the DL. Graveman struggled mightily in his four starts with the A's (8.27 ERA, 2.02 WHIP, 9/7 strikeout-to-walk ratio) prior to being sent back down to Triple-A, but has been dominant in his four minor leagues starts since then (1.85 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and a 14/9 strikeout-to-walk ratio).
