Ervin Santana picked up the win in game one of Saturday's double-header against the Phillies after allowing two runs with a walk and five strikeouts over 6.2 innings.

Big Erv put an end to his three game losing streak as he improved to 6-5 in 15 starts on the season. The win was Santana's first in five June starts and just the second time in nine starts that he allowed fewer than three earned runs. The 31-year old righty will face the DBacks, (the only other team besides the Phillies that he held to fewer than three runs over his last nine games), at home on Friday in his next start.
