Domonic Brown went 1-for-4, driving in his 38th RBI of the Season in a 3-2 loss to the Marlins on Wednesday.
Brown has yet to show signs of breaking out of a terrible slump to start the season, but managed to be responsible for one of the Phillies two runs on Wednesday. He is now sporting a .217 average with five home runs and 38 RBI through 267 at-bats, which warrants consideration in NL-only leagues at best moving forward.ANALYST: Matthew Beck
Marc Krauss went 1-for-4 with a solo home run on Thursday in Toronto.
Krauss is hitting only .150 with a .350 slugging percentage after launching his first home run of the season. It was just his seventh game of the season, but there’s no doubt he’ll need to cut down on the strikeouts if he’s ever going to be able to showcase the decent pop he has. The left-handed hitter was called up from AAA to try and infuse some offense in Anaheim and was slugging .639 over his past 10 games. With Matt Joyce really struggling, expect Krauss to steal some of his at-bats over the next few weeks. Analysis: Kevin Luchansky
