All indications are that Kevin Garnett is preparing to return for another season with the Brooklyn Nets, according to a league source.

Kevin Garnett is scheduled to make the healthy sum of $12 million in the final year of his contract, which would keep me from retiring as well. Even if Garnett does return to the Nets, he should not be looked at as a Fantasy Basketball contributor anymore as he averaged 20.5 minutes in 54 appearances last season, and was a daily candidate for a DNPANALYST: Drew Phelps

Marcus Semien went 1-for-3 connecting on his seventh home run of the season against the Mariners on Thursday.

Semien is now slashing .259/.309/.402 with seven home runs, 19 RBI , 35 runs scored and seven steals through his first 301 at-bats. Despite his issues in the field, the Athletics continue to give Semien everyday at-bats so until that changes he is someone worth owning in deep league formats.  Analysis: Matthew Beck

Josh Phegley went 1-for-4 with a two-run double against the Mariners on Thursday.

Phegley continues to swing a hot bat when in the starting lineup as he is now slashing .280/.333/.523 with five home runs, 17 RBI and 10 runs scored through 107 at-bats. Although he will need to receive regular playing time before showing his true value, Phegley makes for a solid DFS play when behind the dish. Analysis: Matthew Beck

After Clippers meeting, DeAndre Jordan remains "truly 50-50" and "torn" on choice between Mavericks and Clippers.

There was a reported rift between Chris Paul and Jordan last season, but it remains to be seen whether the two parties can work things out. With the Western Conference being so elite, Jordan will likely have an equal shot at championship glory on either team. With that said, this may come down to whether Jordan can coexist with Chris Paul. We should know his decision in the coming days or weeks. Analysis: David Kerr

Will Venable went 1-for-1 with a pinch-hit, two-run home run against the Cardinals on Thursday.

Venable came on in the 11th inning and belted the go-ahead run off Cardinals reliever Carlos Villaneuva. Venable’s numbers are not good enough to consider him of any fantasy value. Analysis: Zack Carpenter

Yangervis Solarte went 1-for-3 with a home run, one run scored and one RBI before getting ejected against the Padres on Thursday.

Solarte’s numbers have not been good this year, other than 17 doubles and a 16:27 K/BB rate. With just three homers and a .361 slugging percentage, Solarte doesn’t have enough power to warrant any fantasy consideration. Analysis: Zack Carpenter
