Clayton Kershaw follows up his no-hitter with an eight inning shutout of the Royals on Tuesday.
So much for that perceived post-no-no jinx as Kershaw improved to 5-0 with an 0.97 ERA in five June starts (37 IP) while extending his streak of seven or more punch out to seven consecutive starts which is tied with Tigers SP Max Scherzer for the longest such streak in MLB this season. Kershaw's next start will be against the Cardinals at home where he is 3-1 with a 2.13 ERA (9 ER in 38 IP) this season.ANALYST: Michael Pichan
Wilson Ramos went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in the Nationals 2-1 win over the Cubs on Monday.
Ramos hit his third home run of the season on Monday to go with a .285 average, 13 runs and 21 RBI. Health has been Ramos’s biggest hindrance so far in his career as he has appeared in more than 100 games just once since he entered the league in 2010 but that has not stopped the production as he has hit 10+ home runs three times since 2011 and boasts a per 162 average of 22 home runs and 87 RBI which would make him one of the top offensive catchers in baseball. Ramos owners should keep their fingers crossed that this is the year he plays a full season as they will likely end up with one of the top catchers in fantasy. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba
