Clayton Kershaw follows up his no-hitter with an eight inning shutout of the Royals on Tuesday.
So much for that perceived post-no-no jinx as Kershaw improved to 5-0 with an 0.97 ERA in five June starts (37 IP) while extending his streak of seven or more punch out to seven consecutive starts which is tied with Tigers SP Max Scherzer for the longest such streak in MLB this season. Kershaw's next start will be against the Cardinals at home where he is 3-1 with a 2.13 ERA (9 ER in 38 IP) this season.
