Jarrod Dyson went 3-for-3 with two RBI, a run scored and two stolen bases during the Royals' 5-3 win over the Dodgers on Monday.
With Norichika Aoki on the disabled list, Dyson has been taking advantage of the extra playing with some stellar work both in the field and at the plate. Though the steals were just his first two here in the month of June, he has four multi-hit games in his last eight and is now slashing .305/.357/.324 with nine RBI and 12 steals in 105 at-bats.ANALYST: Howard Bender
Rajon Rondo has agreed to a one-year deal with the Kings.
There was some late buzz that Rondo could join the Lakers, but instead he'll sign with the Sacramento Kings for a one-year, $10 million deal. Rondo's season fell apart in 2014 after being traded to Dallas, but expectations will still be high for the point guard due to his track record. That being said, last year's meltdown for Rondo was jarring, as his assists per game fell from 10.8 to 6.5, and his rebounds went from 7.5 to 4.5 per game. Hopefully Rondo will become better acclimated with his team in Dallas, as if he can get it together, Rondo could be a key piece in his new team's playoff bid. Analysis: Ben Diamond
Patrick Beverley has agreed to a four-year deal with the Rockets.
The 26-year old will return to Houston after spending his first three seasons with the team, averaging 8.9 points, 3 assists, and 4.2 rebounds per game over his tenure. Last season was his best as a professional, and Beverley will look to earn an expanded role in the backcourt next season after averaging 30.8 minutes last season. The four-year deal is worth $25 million. Analysis: Ben Diamond
