Adam Jones went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored during the Orioles' 6-4 win against the White Sox on Monday.
Jones continues to heat up along with the weather this summer, having now logged three straight multi-hit games, raising his batting average up to .296 with 14 home runs and 47 RBI on the season. After a terrible month of April, Jones has since been a great fantasy asset, including batting .329 with eight home runs and 18 RBI in the June, which is by far his best month to date. He will likely slow down a bit considering the pace he is on, but even if he does he is still one of the top fantasy outfield options ot own the rest of the way.ANALYST: Matthew Beck
Sean Marshall (shoulder) has resumed throwing from flat ground.
Marshall was shut down at the beginning of spring training with shoulder soreness, but has resumed throwing. Last June, Marshall underwent season ending shoulder surgery after making just 15 appearances in 2014. The only thing scarier than last season's 7.71 ERA is the fact that he has had some sort of shoulder injury in each of the last three seasons. Leave this guy off your draft board. Nathan Eovaldi has been working on improving his splitter during spring training.
Eovaldi is more of a thrower than a pitcher right now, but the Yankees are hoping he can develop into a mainstay in their rotation. Even though he hasn't had a winning season in his four year career, his velocity is hope for optimism. Eovaldi got knocked around a lot last year, but he doesn't walk many batters, something else the Yankees are excited about. Eovaldi is going late in drafts and there is some solid value to be had if he can take the next step forward. Analysis: Colby Conway
