A Kevin Love deal to the Warriors is reportedly dead and it is "unlikely" now that he will be dealt before the draft.
The sticking point of the deal is Klay Thompson and the Warriors are not willing to deal him away and they may not have to. There has been no other deal presented even close to the Thompson deal. The Nuggets and Celtics have offered inferior packages. There is very little chance that Love will be deal before the NBA Draft on Thursday. ANALYST: Drew Phelps
Torii Hunter is not in the Twins starting lineup Wednesday.
Torii Hunter is having a very productive season in a quiet manner for the Twins. With hits in nine of his last ten games and four home runs in his last four games, a day of rest can do him more good than harm. Hunter is hitting .272 this season with 12 home runs and 44 RBI and should return to the lineup when the Twins are in Kansas City on Thursday. Analysis: Greg Jewett
Hanley Ramirez took batting practice Tuesday with no reported problems.
While it seems that there is always a nagging injury for Hanley Ramirez, he has played in 67 games this year. After taking batting practice yesterday, he may be able to avoid a stint on the disabled list yet again. Ramirez has scored 41 runs with 15 home runs and 38 RBI this year while hitting .283/.330/.482 for Boston. If he is in the lineup, he should be starting in fantasy. Analysis: Greg Jewett
Aaron Sanchez (back) might return to the bullpen when he is healthy.
Aaron Sanchez is scheduled to pitch bullpen sessions on Wednesday and Saturday. Then he will go on a rehab assignment. His role is to be determined by Toronto going forward. Although his ERA in his last four starts was 3.55, a move back to the pen where he had two wins and three saves in 2014 with a 1.09 ERA may serve the team better. Monitor the news going forward in regards to his role when Sanchez returns. Analysis: Greg Jewett
