Glen Perkins is likely unavailable Sunday after working three days in a row.
While Perkins has notched three saves in his last four outings, he's been touched up for three runs over his last two appearances and has thrown a significant number of pitches over the last three days. Should the Twins find themselves in a save situation Sunday, Casey Fien would likely be the guy to get the call. Jared Burton may also be a possibility. ANALYST: Howard Bender
MLB/MLBPA panel is deadlocked over whether Josh Hamilton should be sent to rehab.
Hamilton's fate rested in the hands of four people, and the votes were split on whether or not to send the former All-Star to rehab. Hamilton was known to have failed at least six drug tests as a minor leaguer and was suspended from baseball from 2004 to 2006. He is in the third year of a five-year, $125 million deal and the Angels are hoping that he is on the field. He has been a bust since inking this contract and he is worth no more than a last round draft pick, especially with this relapse news. Analysis: Colby Conway
