The Royals announce that they've placed OF Norichika Aoki (groin) on the 15-day disabled list.
Aoki left Wednesday's game with groin tightness, but played Thursday where he obviously re-aggravated it. After missing Friday's game the Royals opted to put him on the DL and let him heal as his disappointing first half comes to a close. He could be a nice buy-low for the second half if you're looking for cheap speed. We expect him to have a nice bounce-back.ANALYST: Howard Bender
Rudy Gay (ankle) will start against the 76ers on Wednesday.
Gay has been playing through an ankle injury, and after being on a slight minutes limit for the last couple of games, he isn't expected to be on Wednesday night against the 76ers. Consider him a solid start going up against a bad team, while featuring an average of 17 points and nearly seven rebounds per game on the season. Analysis: Dom Murtha
Rajon Rondo (toe) will play against the 76ers on Wednesday.
While his fantasy numbers have been solid this season, Rondo has been a turnstile defensively and has brought a bad locker room vibe to Sacramento. Luckily for fantasy owners, the only thing that matters is his statistical production, which has been good so far, so continue to start him on a nightly basis, just like recently saved coach Karl will do going forward.
