Ian Desmond went 2-for-6 with a solo home run against the Braves on Friday.

Although Desmond is not hitting for good average this season (.237 BA), he has been a major contributor in the power categories, now sitting with 14 home runs and 45 RBI through his first 274 at-bats while adding in five stolen bases. His increased strikeout rate is something fantasy owners will want to continue to monitor (30.1 percent K Rate), but in all he is one of the better players to roster at his position moving forward.
