Freddie Freeman went 3-for-6 with a home run, one RBI and three runs scored against the Nationals on Friday.

Freeman has been heating up, going 13-for-34 (.382) with eight extra-base hits (1 HR) and seven runs scored over his last seven games. The Braves first baseman has been in somewhat of a funk heading into this week, but four multi-hit games have awoken his bat just in time to make a final push before the All-Star break. He is now sporting a .286 average with 12 home runs and 37 RBI through 283 at-bats and should remain a quality contributor even if he is unable to reach 25 home runs for the first time.
