R.A. Dickey (groin) has been scratched from Friday's start. He will now start on Sunday.
Dickey was dealing with more groin tightness after his last start so either he's still feeling it and even Sunday's start could be in jeopardy or the Jays are just being cautious and giving him more time to rest. Count on him for Sunday though while Liam Hendriks makes a spot start. J.A. Happ will take his regular turn on Saturday.ANALYST: Howard Bender
Paul Millsap does not need surgery on his shoulder, just rest.
After the Hawks were eliminated from the NBA Playoffs, it was reported he could need surgery on his sprained right shoulder. Millsap will head into the offseason as a free agent and he is reportedly undecided about how he will conduct his summer. He didn't play well in the playoffs, although it's tough to know how much the shoulder affected his play. Analysis: Spencer Silva
Blue Jays optioned RHP Scott Copeland to Triple-A Buffalo.
Copeland didn't pitch during his short stint back with the club, but recorded three scoreless innings in a previous stint earlier this month. At 27, he's not much of a prospect in spite of having strong success in the International League in 2015. He could eventually establish himself as a swingman for the Jays in the near future.
