Texans have released QB T.J. Yates.
Texans new head coach Bill OBrien said he wanted to get down to three quarterbacks before the start of training camp and the odd man out is Yates, but that may be a blessing in disguise as Yates former head coach Gary Kubiak could be in line to persuade the Ravens organization to sign Yates to be Joe Flacco's possible backup seeing as Kubiak should have some pull as the Ravens new offensive coordinator this season.ANALYST: Michael Pichan
The Mariners and Marlins are discussing a trade that would send Marcell Ozuna to Seattle.
After hitting 23 home runs in his first full season in 2013, Ozuna disappointed with just 10 home runs in 494 PA in 2014. His HR/FB rate fell back to around league average last year, which obviously killed his value. But he did cut his strikeout rate down from the mid-20's to the low-20's and he'll just be 25 this season, so there'a a chance for a bounce back. Unfortunately a move to Seattle wouldn't represent an upgrade in home park, but at least it's a lateral move from Miami. Analysis: Brett Talley
