Chad Billingsley will have surgery to repair a torn flexor tendon.
Billingsley's recent attempt to return from Tommy John surgery, which had cost him all but two starts at the beginning of last season, has ended before it could even progress to the point of facing live batters. Billingsley will kiss another year good-bye once he goes under the knife, but by doing so gives himself a better chance of being ready for the start of the 2015 MLB season.ANALYST: Michael Pichan
Ricky Rubio (ankle) is doubtful for Wednesday's game.
Rubio has played in just one game since March 13 and is likely to miss Wednesday's contest. His absence is crushing fantasy owners that were counting on him down the stretch for high assists totals. It's probable that Rubio will return at some point this year, though it is anyone's guess as to when. Analysis: David Kerr
Kevin Martin (hamstring) is questionable for Wednesday's game.
What started out as a day of rest for Martin last Monday has turned into five missed games. While he certainly can contribute for fantasy owners on most nights, we are at the point in the season, where we can play the waiting game. If there is a similar healthy option on your wire, it's probably a wise move to make the switch. Analysis: David Kerr
