UPDATES & NEWS
The Chicago Bulls are "looking to improve the starting lineup at any cost," and only Derrick Rose is untouchable in trade discussions.
Apparently Carmelo Anthony is a top priority as he is for several other teams. Word is that Joakim Noah had been recruiting him at the All Star game and during the second half of the season as well. The only condition Noah had with regard to recruiting Anthony was that the Bulls not bring him in at the expense of Taj Gibson. The Melo soap opera will be a highlight for hoops fans all summer long. Update: Corey Dickerson was removed from Saturday's game with a left quad injury.
While the news regarding Dickerson's plantar fasciitis was positive, he was removed after he fouled a ball off his back leg and is now day-to-day with what the team is calling a quad injury. When his leg appeared to be swollen, manager Walt Weiss opted to play it safe and remove Dickerson who had gone 0-for-3 in Saturday's game against the Giants. Consider him day-to-day for right now and figure he'll be a game-time decision for Sunday. Analysis: Howard Bender
