The Chicago Bulls are "looking to improve the starting lineup at any cost," and only Derrick Rose is untouchable in trade discussions.
Apparently Carmelo Anthony is a top priority as he is for several other teams. Word is that Joakim Noah had been recruiting him at the All Star game and during the second half of the season as well. The only condition Noah had with regard to recruiting Anthony was that the Bulls not bring him in at the expense of Taj Gibson. The Melo soap opera will be a highlight for hoops fans all summer long. Derrick Rose will not play against the Bucks Wednesday.
Rose was doing full-contact drills Monday and participating in 5-on-5 work Tuesday. He's building up his conditioning and it shouldn't be much longer before he's back on the court. How many minutes he logs per game once he does return might be in question as the Bulls are looking more towards the playoffs than anything else. Analysis: Howard Bender
Terrence Jones (ribs, lung) wil play Wednesday.
Jones has missed the last six games with a collapsed lung, so to see him get back on the court Wednesday is great news just from a humanistic standpoint. If he can continue to shine glass as he's done throughout the season (7.3 boards per game), then he'll be a nice asset down the stretch. Analysis: Howard Bender
